Impact Consultants is accelerating its growth in tourism with a hybrid model

Date:

This morning I attended the press breakfast organized by Impact Consultants in Paris. Behind an apparently classic announcement, the arrival of Devi Pentamah as Director of Tourism Development actually hides a signal that confirms an evolution already underway in the travel ecosystem: that of a repositioning of consulting, increasingly oriented towards concrete execution and operational performance.

A firm that claims a very operational positioning

Founded in 2021, Impact Consultants has quickly positioned itself as a key player in strategic and operational consulting in the tourism, mobility and hospitality sectors.

The firm claims to have completed more than 150 missions, a team of experts working in several countries and references such as Accor, PortAventura World and Digitrips.

But beyond the figures, it is above all its positioning that attracts attention: a model that refuses to stop at simply making a recommendation.

As Rodolphe Lenoir, CEO of the firm, explains: “We are convinced that growth is not built solely on strategic recommendations, nor solely on commercial execution. It arises from their combination. Consulting provides the methods, tools, and structure; commercial representation provides the operational grounding. We are proud to welcome Devi Pentamah, who brings us unparalleled expertise in the sector and personalizes our ambition.”

The arrival of Devi Pentamah to structure the tourism hub

To accelerate in the sector, Impact Consultants announces the arrival of Devi Pentamah, former Director of Sales at Hilton, with more than 30 years of experience in tourism and hospitality.

Its mission is clear: to structure and develop a hub dedicated to tourism, notably by strengthening the commercial and operational dimension.

She summarizes her positioning as follows: Today, tourism companies are looking for much more than just a sales representative. They want a partner who can understand their challenges, open the right networks, and concretely accelerate their development. Joining Impact Consultants allows me to combine this close connection to the field with methodologies, tools, and strategic support capabilities that create real value for our clients.

A hybrid model: consulting + sales representation

One of the key points presented at the event was this hybrid model, which combines strategic advice and commercial representation.

In concrete terms:

  • The council provides the vision, methodologies, and tools
  • The sales representative operates in the field
  • The whole system is driven by data and performance

This model helps to support tourism stakeholders from strategic thinking to operational execution, with a focus on measurable results.

A signal that confirms an already existing trend

What I found particularly interesting in the discussions is that this model responds to a very concrete evolution of the market.

Development cycles are accelerating, markets are becoming more international, and companies are seeking quick results.

According to Impact Consultants, the global market for outsourced sales services is showing annual growth of close to 9%, a sign that companies are increasingly relying on partners to develop their markets.

AI is accelerating… but it doesn't replace field expertise

Another key point raised during the discussions was the impact of artificial intelligence on consulting professions.

As Rodolphe Lenoir explained during the discussions, AI now makes it possible to greatly accelerate the analysis, study or production phases.

But it does not replace the essentials: understanding the field, analytical skills and a strategic perspective.

A concrete example shared: a study that previously took 30 days can now be completed in 10 days. This time saving directly raises questions about the consulting business model… and the valuation of expertise.

What this changes for tourism professionals

For tourism stakeholders, this type of approach reflects a clear evolution:

  • Less theoretical advice, more execution
  • A strong expectation of measurable results
  • A need for hybrid support (strategy + fieldwork)
  • An acceleration of decision-making and go-to-market cycles

In other words, partners who are able to take concrete action, and not just make recommendations, gain a significant advantage.

A positioning aligned with the new challenges of the sector

With this announcement, Impact Consultants is not just recruiting an experienced professional. The firm is formalizing a positioning that is already emerging in the sector: that of a consultant who is closer to the field, more business-oriented, and more integrated.

In a context where commercial performance, distribution and transformation are becoming critical, this type of approach could quickly become the standard.

Key takeaways

  • Impact Consultants strengthens its position in tourism
  • The arrival of Devi Pentamah structures a dedicated hub
  • The firm is banking on a hybrid consulting + operational model
  • AI accelerates processes but reinforces the value of expertise
  • The market is evolving towards a logic of concrete performance
