La vie en bleu sailing caters to travel agencies seeking unique experiences with an offer of stays on monohull racing-cruising sailboats, sailing and with the greatest respect for the environment, between the islands and in the Polynesian lagoons.
In a destination dominated by catamaran charters, David Dussau's proposal may interest professionals positioned in experiential travel, premium stays or who wish to respond to the demands of travelers seeking personalized itineraries – off the beaten track.

The Pogo 12.50 of La vie en bleu sailing at anchor in French Polynesia | David Dussau
La vie en bleu sailing was created in 2023 by David Dussau, a former top-level racing driver and sailing enthusiast. After two long sailing trips between mainland France and French Polynesia, aboard two of his boats, the founder settled on the Polynesian island of Raiatea.
In the Leeward Islands, he decided to turn his passion into his profession. He will take small groups of travelers aboard a comfortable, fast and efficient monohull sailboat, perfect for discovering the destination: the Pogo 12.50!

« In a racing-cruising monohull, the aim was to offer a very different experience from that already available on the numerous charter catamarans in the area. The Pogo is a sailboat that allows you to experience the thrill of sailing and fully enjoy the destination. At the helm, travelers feel free to discover Polynesia exactly as they wish. Moreover, in the Society Islands as well as the Tuamotu Islands, the boat's very shallow draft allows access to the most inaccessible parts of the lagoons. »

A 100% tailor-made approach, designed to enrich travel agency portfolios
To discover Polynesia by sailboat, travelers charter David Dussau's Pogo:
“ Since cabin rentals don’t allow me to fully meet the wishes of each traveler, it’s not the formula I wanted to prioritize. I offer pre-formed groups of 2 to 6 people the opportunity to rent Fast Guy – my Pogo 12.50.”
As the sailboat's skipper, I handle all the crossings and train the crew in sailing if they wish. Thanks to my knowledge of the area, I also guide passengers on land, allowing them to discover the destination in an authentic way ».
In a destination largely structured around catamaran charters, David Dussau's offering allows agencies to broaden their response to repeat travelers or clients attracted by more immersive and personalized formats.
In 2027, a new cruise destination and the arrival of a new sailboat
In 2027, with La vie en bleu sailing having grown considerably, the enthusiast opens a new Polynesian cruise destination : the Marquesas Islands, from the beginning of December to the end of February, every year.
La vie en bleu sailing will also see the arrival of a new sailboat in its fleet: a Pogo 44 , capable of accommodating up to 8 passengers, which will be available from March 2027 in the Polynesian territory.
