LuxTravelHub 2026: a new B2B event aims to establish itself at the heart of European tourism

Date:

On March 19, 2026, Luxembourg will host the first edition of LuxTravelHub, a new high-end B2B event dedicated to key players in European tourism. Conceived as a true hub for professional networking, this event aims to put human relationships back at the heart of business performance, in a sector seeking more meaningful connections.

A format designed as a hub for professional connections

According to the official press release, LuxTravelHub will take place on March 19, 2026, from 2 p.m. to midnight, at Chouchou Luxembourg. The event is aimed at leisure, business, and MICE travel agencies, corporate travel managers, and B2B and B2C media.

Driven by the slogan "Inspirations, Opportunities, Connections," LuxTravelHub aims to become a strategic meeting place for tourism professionals from Luxembourg, Lorraine, Belgium, and Germany. The stated objective is clear: to foster concrete, sustainable, and high-value exchanges within a deliberately selective framework.

A B2B event combining business and conviviality

More than a traditional trade show, LuxTravelHub boasts a hybrid format, combining targeted business meetings, premium networking, and social events. The event will bring together 65 exhibitors and 300 qualified buyers, a ratio designed to ensure high-quality interactions and minimize irrelevant contacts.

From 2 pm to 8 pm, participants will work in a professional setting with an all-inclusive food and beverage package. The evening, hosted by Monsieur Tourisme RTL (Radio-Télévision Luxembourg), will continue in a more informal atmosphere with a winter barbecue and dance party, encouraging networking in a less formal setting.

Luxembourg, a strategic territory for cross-border tourism

Located in the heart of Europe, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg occupies a central position in cross-border tourism flows. Its immediate proximity to France, Belgium and Germany, combined with strong purchasing power and high daily mobility, makes it a particularly attractive location for tourism operators.

According to data published by STATEC – January 2025 , Luxembourg records 3.3 million trips per year and more than 22 million overnight stays away from home, for a total of €3.38 billion in tourism spending. The country also stands out for its stable economy, expected growth between 1% and 2.1%, and a public debt limited to 26.3% of GDP.

A selective positioning focused on the tourism of tomorrow

LuxTravelHub positions itself as a European networking platform, designed to address the challenges of cross-border tourism and the growing demand for interregional collaborations. The event is exclusively reserved for leisure, business, and MICE travel agents, corporate travel managers, group leaders, and the specialized press, ensuring the relevance of the participants.

The organizers intend to make this first edition a lasting starting point, with the ambition of creating an event capable of thinking, imagining and building the tourism of tomorrow, in a format where quality takes precedence over quantity.
