The French group S4BT (CDS Groupe), specializing in technology solutions for business travel, has announced the acquisition of Travel Centric Technology, the London-based parent company of HotelHub. According to the trade press, this transaction allows S4BT to reach a strategic milestone and set a clear objective: to achieve $10 billion in hotel volume by 2030.
Summary
A structuring operation in the business travel market
With the integration of HotelHub, S4BT now boasts over $5 billion in annual hotel booking volume and approximately 60,000 bookings per day. The group also states that it has over 700 employees worldwide, nearly half of whom are dedicated to technology and product development.
Ziad Minkara, founder and CEO of S4BT, states: “Our ambition is clear: to build the most integrated and technologically advanced business travel platform. The acquisition of HotelHub is a decisive step in this direction.”
HotelHub is a technology player positioned on the aggregation and distribution of hotel content for major international TMCs, with a strong presence in the UK and strategic connections with business travel management solutions.

A strengthened position in Europe and the United Kingdom
The acquisition allows S4BT to accelerate its international development, particularly in the UK market, considered one of the most important in global business travel. It also strengthens its brand portfolio, which includes CDS, CRC, HotelHub, Goelett, SIAP, TMS, Methodica, and Trevium.
The group emphasizes an open and modular technological architecture: hotel booking, payment, electronic invoicing, VAT management, and ERP integrations. This approach aims to meet the needs of TMCs and agencies wishing to combine different technological components according to their business model.
The challenges for agencies and TMCs
For travel agencies and travel management companies, the main challenge lies in expanding access to integrated technological solutions within the hotel sector, in a context of accelerated market consolidation. The stated objective of $10 billion by 2030 reflects a sustained growth strategy, which will rely as much on asset integration as on execution capacity.
- Claimed hotel volume: over $5 billion annually
- Target for 2030: $10 billion
- Daily bookings: approximately 60,000
- Global workforce: over 700 employees
- Positioning: open technology platform for business travel
In a European business travel market estimated at several hundred billion euros, critical mass dictates investments in technology, payment systems, and compliance. The successful integration of HotelHub within the next 12 to 18 months will be crucial in assessing the true impact of this acquisition.
