Carré Voyages is continuing its external growth strategy. After several acquisitions since July 2024, the group has a new ambition: to replicate in the Indian Ocean the model developed by Nortours, which it acquired in the fall of 2025. This strategic direction was confirmed by statements made by its CEO, Marc de Navacelle, in the trade press.
Summary
A tailor-made B2B model as a strategic foundation
According to the trade press, Carré Voyages aims to replicate the Nortours model in the Indian Ocean , a B2B tour operator whose "80% of business is dedicated to tailor-made travel," explains Marc de Navacelle . He adds: "Tailor-made doesn't necessarily mean we offer luxury."

The stated objective is to structure a BtoB tour operator positioned on the personalization of travel, without necessarily targeting the luxury segment.
Jacaranda, a new piece in the puzzle
In February 2026, Carré Voyages finalized its acquisition of Jacaranda, a travel agency specializing in Madagascar, through an offer approved by the Paris court. The agency, founded in 1996, has four employees and retains its location on rue de Clichy in Paris.
The immediate plan is to expand leisure activities to Jacaranda's historical clientele, before considering wider development in the Indian Ocean area.
Ultimately, the destinations mentioned include Mauritius, Zanzibar, Tanzania, Seychelles, Comoros and Madagascar.

Internal structure and governance
Marc de Navacelle acknowledges the scale of the growth rate: "Since July 2024, I have acquired 5 businesses, that's a lot."
To support this expansion, four employees will be appointed as managers and an expanded five-person management committee will be established. Furthermore, five retirements are expected within the next two years, and a succession plan is already underway.
Regarding the takeover of Jacaranda, the manager describes it as a "slight folly," motivated in particular by a desire to support a company in difficulty: "As the boss of a company that is doing well, I feel a responsibility to help a company that is struggling."
A gradual development towards the Indian Ocean
The rollout of the Nortours model in the Indian Ocean will take place at a later stage, after the newly integrated entities have achieved economic stability. Initially, Nortours' sales teams will be informed and trained before any potential wider deployment.
