Four Seasons continues its expansion in Spain with the announcement of a new property in Seville. Scheduled to open in 2028, this project will mark the arrival of the luxury hotel group in Andalusia, a region that has been attracting a growing number of high-end investments for several years.
Developed in partnership with the Spanish real estate fund Blasson, the future Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla will be located on Plaza Nueva, one of the most iconic squares in the Andalusian capital. The hotel will occupy a historic mid-20th-century building that will undergo a complete renovation.
Located in the Arenal district, the hotel will benefit from a strategic location just minutes from Seville Cathedral, the Alcázar and the Archivo de Indias, three UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Summary
A new step for Four Seasons in Spain
With this opening, Four Seasons will strengthen its presence in the Spanish market. The group already operates the Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, which opened in 2020, as well as the Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor.
Seville will thus become the group's third Spanish address and its first establishment in Andalusia.
For Four Seasons, this opening is part of a strategy that favours destinations with a strong cultural heritage and an international clientele with high purchasing power.

A deliberately small hotel
The future establishment will have approximately 55 rooms and suites spread over five floors. The accommodations will range in size from 40 to 117 square meters and will include a presidential suite.
This relatively small capacity places the project among the most intimate hotels in Four Seasons' European portfolio.
The group thus confirms a trend observed in the luxury segment: favouring establishments of limited size in order to offer a more personalized and exclusive experience.
Gastronomy, wellness and views of Seville
The hotel will include several dining areas, including a restaurant overlooking Plaza Nueva and a rooftop restaurant and bar offering panoramic views over the city's rooftops.
A lounge, spa, fitness center and rooftop pool will complete the offering.
The project's architecture has been entrusted to the firm Lamela, which was already involved in the development of the Four Seasons Madrid. The interiors will be designed by the Spanish designer Belén Domecq.
Seville continues its move upmarket
This announcement comes as Seville continues to strengthen its appeal to tourists. Accessible from Madrid in about two and a half hours by high-speed train, the city welcomes nearly five million visitors a year.
According to the specialized press, the destination is attracting more and more international travelers drawn by its heritage, gastronomy and cultural offerings.
The arrival of a player like Four Seasons confirms the growing interest of investors in the high-end Andalusian hotel market.
A signal for the luxury market in Spain
Beyond the opening itself, this project illustrates the current dynamics of premium tourism in Spain. After Madrid and Mallorca, Four Seasons has now chosen an urban destination with a strong cultural identity to continue its development.
According to the specialized press, major international hotel brands continue to seek locations capable of combining heritage, local experience and international clientele.
For Seville, the arrival of Four Seasons represents a new step in the upscale positioning of the destination as the end of the decade approaches.
