Grecotel Plaza Beach House is located directly on the Rethymnon seafront. The property is approximately 1.6 kilometers from the city center, roughly a 20-minute walk according to Grecotel's published directions.
It has 84 accommodations spread across studios, lofts, and one- or two-bedroom apartments. Several categories include a kitchen or kitchenette, as well as a private outdoor space.

Casa Adele, 300 meters from Platanes beach
Grecotel Casa Adele is located in the seaside village of Platanes, east of Rethymno. The property is 300 meters from the beach and approximately 6 kilometers from the historic center.
Casa Adele is therefore not located in the old town, but in a tourist area connected to Rethymnon by road and local transport.
The resort is organized into three sectors called Casa Adele, Casa Serena and Villa Adele. Accommodation includes studios, cottages and apartments arranged around gardens, common areas and swimming pools.
The accommodations currently offered by Grecotel feature fully equipped kitchens and verandas or shaded balconies. Some categories include one or two separate bedrooms, while others offer direct access to a swimming pool.
A wellness area of over 230 m²
The Fitness Club & Spa is located in the Villa Adele area. Its surface area exceeds 230 m².
It includes a gym, a squash court, a sauna, a hydromassage bath, an indoor pool decorated with mosaics and treatment cabins.
Access conditions vary depending on the area. Massage and treatment services are offered by reservation and incur an additional charge.
The dining options include a breakfast buffet and Greek and Italian dishes served in an open-air restaurant. Grecotel specifically mentions Cretan specialties, pizzas, and a selection of Mediterranean dishes.
Agreco Farm, a separate activity from the stay
Guests of Casa Adele can book experiences at Agreco Farm, a farm located in the Adele area, near Rethymnon.
The "Farmer for the Day" activity allows participants to take part in preparing Cretan recipes, making bread, discovering cheese production and various agricultural tasks.
This experience is organized by reservation only. Official information does not indicate that it is automatically included in the price of a stay at Casa Adele.
Villa Oliva, a small establishment in Adelianos Kampos
Villa Oliva is located in Adelianos Kampos, approximately 5.7 kilometers from Rethymno. The property is arranged around a Mediterranean garden and a freshwater outdoor swimming pool.
Its offering includes 21 Superior ground-floor rooms, Deluxe rooms located in the main building, family apartments and apartments with two bedrooms.
The Superior and Deluxe rooms have an area of between 22 and 27 m². They can accommodate up to two adults and one child.
Family apartments measure between 40 and 45 m² and can accommodate two adults and two children. Two-bedroom apartments offer between 45 and 55 m² of living space, with a stated capacity of three adults and two children.
The apartments are equipped with facilities for preparing meals. These facilities, listed according to category, include a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and stovetop.
A bar located near the pool offers drinks, snacks and light meals during the day.
Activities available at another Grecotel establishment
Villa Oliva does not have on site all the sports and wellness facilities presented in its offer.
The official activities page currently redirects to Grecotel Plaza Beach House for water sports, the Grecoland program, and certain spa services. Transfers between the two properties are not included.
Travellers and distributors should therefore check schedules, access conditions and any potential costs before presenting these services as part of the stay.
Three Grecotel locations that do not offer the same experience
Plaza Beach House is the closest establishment to the centre of Rethymnon and the only one of the three located directly on the urban seafront.
Casa Adele is located in the seaside resort of Platanes. It offers several categories of fully equipped accommodation and boasts the most developed wellness area in this selection.
Villa Oliva is a smaller property located in Adelianos Kampos. Its family rooms can accommodate up to five people, but some activities are organized at another Grecotel property.
All three properties combine self-catering accommodation with hotel-style services. However, they should not be marketed as identical products.
Points to check before selling the stay
Tourism professionals must check the exact category of accommodation, its contractual capacity, the presence of a kitchen or kitchenette, and the included catering arrangements.
It is also important to specify the actual distance from the center of Rethymno. Plaza Beach House is approximately 1.6 kilometers from the center, compared to 6 kilometers for Casa Adele and 5.7 kilometers for Villa Oliva.
Children's activities, treatments, water sports and experiences offered at Agreco Farm may depend on the season, prior booking or an additional charge.
