In less than a year and a half, Brazil will host the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027. The first Women's World Cup to be held in South America, the event promises to attract hundreds of thousands of fans from around the world. But between entry requirements, the long distances between host cities, booking flights, and budgeting, organizing your trip can quickly become a headache. It's precisely to answer these questions that I've developed a new free tool: the Women's World Cup 2027 Fan Guide.
Summary
The 2027 Women's World Cup will be a major event for tourism
From June 24 to July 25, 2027, Brazil will host the 32 best national teams for the first Women's World Cup organized on the South American continent.
Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Fortaleza, Recife and Porto Alegre will host the 64 matches of the competition.
According to FIFA, this tournament is expected to continue the strong growth of women's football observed in recent years. Viewerships regularly break records, and brand investments continue to increase. For tourism professionals, this represents a market with strong potential, particularly for agencies specializing in sports travel.

Planning a trip to Brazil requires much more than just booking a plane ticket
Unlike a competition held in a small European country, the 2027 Women's World Cup will take place in a territory of continental dimensions.
There are over 3,000 kilometers between Porto Alegre and Fortaleza. Some connections require several hours of flying, while weather conditions vary from region to region.
In addition to this, there are the questions that fans naturally ask themselves:
- Do you need a visa to enter Brazil?
- What budget should I plan for?
- Which city to choose?
- How do I get to the different stages?
- What will the weather be like during the southern winter?
- How to follow the official calendar
While preparing several pieces of content about this competition, I quickly realized that the answers were scattered across a multitude of websites.
So I created a completely free Supporter's Guide
Rather than consulting FIFA, consular services, a currency converter, a flight comparison site, or several tourist guides in succession, I wanted to gather all this information on a single platform.
The result is available free of charge at:

Pepito, an AI assistant specializing in the 2027 Women's World Cup
One of the features I'm most proud of is called Pepito.
Developed with Google Gemini, this conversational assistant answers travelers' questions directly in French.
Need to know the best way to get to the Maracanã stadium? Want to know if a neighborhood is tourist-friendly? Need to understand entry requirements or estimate travel time between Salvador and Recife? A simple question is all it takes.
In my view, this is a very concrete illustration of what artificial intelligence can bring when it is specialized in a specific tourism issue rather than being generalist.
A tool that can also save time for travel agencies
I didn't design this platform solely for the fans.
Travel agencies, tour operators and creators of tailor-made trips can also rely on the Supporter's Guide to quickly answer their customers' questions.
The schedule, distances between cities, budgets, formalities and practical information constitute a real documentary base that can be used before the marketing of future packages.
With more than a year to go before the competition, it's also a good time to start preparing bids.
A demonstration of AI applied to tourism
This project is also a laboratory.
The site was developed with the help of Replit Agent, while the conversational assistant is based on Google Gemini.
The goal was not to replace editorial work, but to show how artificial intelligence can enrich a tourism media outlet by offering genuinely useful services.
I am convinced that specialized media will gradually have to evolve in this direction: to inform, but also to support their readers with practical tools.
