Prodesti continues to expand its tourism training offerings. The organization, specializing in destination training, has just published its schedule through February 2027 and simultaneously announced a new course dedicated to French Polynesia, as well as two free sessions on Peru in Marseille and Paris. According to the press release, this new program confirms Prodesti's commitment to strengthening its presence in the professional tourism training market.
Summary
Why Prodesti training courses are more attractive to travel agencies
In a context where travellers are looking for more personalized advice and more differentiated experiences, travel agencies must strengthen their destination expertise.
According to the press release, Prodesti training courses are led by tourism professionals specializing in the destinations concerned: product managers, sales managers, tour operator executives, destination management companies or tourist offices.
The organization, which holds Qualiopi, also emphasizes the neutrality of its content. Prodesti specifies that its charter mandates “exemplary neutrality” and that the training courses are “not biased towards the offerings of any specific provider.”
In a market where promotional content is ubiquitous, this approach can be a differentiating factor for travel agencies and tour operators.

Last-minute registrations are increasing
According to the press release, Prodesti has seen an increase in last-minute registrations in recent months.
The organization sees this as a direct consequence of “customer wait-and-see” behavior in the current context of the tourism market.
This development also illustrates a broader trend: when bookings become more unpredictable, some agencies choose to strengthen the skills of their teams in order to better support travellers.
Destinations still available before summer 2026
Several courses remain open between June and July 2026. The destinations offered include Colombia, South Korea, Egypt, Thailand, Argentina, Panama, Sri Lanka, Namibia, India, Japan and Costa Rica.
Each module lasts 3.5 hours and is divided into two levels: “Connoisseur”, designed to master the fundamentals of a destination, and “Specialist”, oriented towards more in-depth itineraries and differentiating experiences.
According to Prodesti, the objective is to enable tourism professionals to develop more operational expertise in order to improve their advisory and commercial conversion capabilities.
French Polynesia officially joins the Prodesti catalogue
Prodesti is also adding a new destination to its catalogue with a training course dedicated to French Polynesia.
The session will take place on December 1st and 3rd, 2026 via videoconference and will be led by Anne-Laure Gohier.
According to the press release, Anne-Laure Gohier has over twenty years of experience in creating and selling tailor-made trips to this destination. She has dedicated herself exclusively to French Polynesia since 2022.
This new training program is specifically aimed at agencies specializing in tailor-made travel and premium destinations, in a market known to be complex due to inter-island logistical constraints and the high-end positioning of the destination.
Peru at the heart of a new partnership with Prodesti
Another important announcement: the Peruvian Tourism Office has asked Prodesti to organize two free “Peru Connoisseur” training courses for travel agents.
The first session will take place in Marseille on June 16, 2026 at the Mercure Hotel in the Old Port. The second will take place in Paris on June 30, 2026 at the Peruvian Embassy.
According to the press release, these training courses aim to enable tourism professionals to acquire solid knowledge about the destination while discovering the educational format offered by Prodesti.
Why destination-based training programs are becoming strategic again
For several years, part of the training budgets had been reduced in the tourism sector.
But travelers' expectations are changing rapidly. Customers are now looking for more personalized advice, distinctive itineraries, and salespeople who can provide real expertise.
At the same time, digital tools and booking platforms have largely democratized access to tourist information.
In this context, human expertise is once again becoming a differentiating factor for travel agencies and tour operators.
Destination-specific training can therefore be a strategic tool to strengthen the quality of advice and commercial added value.
What this announcement reveals about the tourism training market
This press release goes far beyond simply publishing a schedule.
It mainly illustrates a deeper evolution in B2B tourism: agencies can no longer just sell product or price.
They now need to sell advice, knowledge and destination expertise.
In this context, organizations capable of offering technical and operational training are playing an increasingly important role in the tourism ecosystem.
According to the press release, Prodesti now has 24 expert trainers and offers 34 training courses covering five continents.
