The Crème de la Crème trade show confirms its positioning in the French-speaking luxury and ultra-luxury travel market. After a first edition held in Paris in October 2025, the event returns from October 12 to 15, 2026 with a more focused, selective format and already fully booked since March, according to the specialized press.
For professionals in the high-end tourism sector, the stakes go beyond simply scheduling B2B trade shows. Crème de la Crème aims to build a Francophone business community capable of connecting international luxury brands with buyers from France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Monaco. The strategy announced for 2027 demonstrates the organizers' intention to establish the event as a long-term fixture, with a roadshow, a new format in Greece, and a third edition held in different locations.
Summary
A trade show created to target French-speaking markets
Crème de la Crème was launched by Nicolas Zimmermann, founder of the firm Exclusively Yours, with a clear idea: to create in Paris a meeting reserved for luxury travel players wishing to develop their links with French-speaking buyers.
The inaugural edition, held from October 13 to 16, 2025, brought together more than 120 international luxury tourism professionals, according to TendanceHotellerie. Before the event, L'Écho touristique reported approximately 130 expected participants, including nearly 70 exhibitors. The target profiles were already clearly defined: hotels and resorts, destination management companies (DMCs), cruise lines, premium carriers, tourist offices, travel agencies, private concierge services, and creators of bespoke travel experiences.
This choice contrasts sharply with large, general international trade shows. Crème de la Crème focuses on a more limited format, where the selection of participants is designed to foster useful, rapid, and business-oriented exchanges.

A second edition, completed several months before the opening
The second edition will be held from October 12 to 15, 2026, in Paris, at the Shangri-La Paris, according to TourMaG. The event will bring together a select group of approximately 160 to 170 participants, according to various sources, including around 80 carefully chosen French-speaking suppliers and buyers. Registration closed in March due to high demand, according to the trade press.
The format includes three days of B2B meetings, networking, and Parisian experiences. Organizers state that each participant can schedule up to 60 personalized meetings. This promise should be interpreted as a format objective, not a guaranteed number of meetings for each exhibitor.
Another interesting sign: more than three-quarters of the exhibitors present at the previous edition reportedly renewed their participation. For such a young event, this return rate provides a useful indicator of market interest, even if it is data provided by the organizers.
International brands already well positioned
The show attracts established players in the luxury tourism sector. Among the 2026 exhibitors cited by industry sources are IHG Hotels & Resorts, Shangri-La, Rocco Forte Hotels, Mandarin Oriental, Explora Journeys, Air Charter Service, Tourism Ireland, JNTO, Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and Visit Monaco.
The press release, relayed by TendanceHotellerie, also mentions a wide selection of hotels, resorts, DMCs, destinations, lifestyle players, and premium experiences. This diversity confirms the show's positioning: not limited to hotels, but covering the entire high-end travel chain, from tailor-made stays to cruises, including destinations, private transportation, and exclusive services.
Why this format is of interest to luxury professionals
Luxury travel operates on a very different logic from mass tourism. Decisions often hinge on trust, the quality of the relationship, a deep understanding of the end customer, and the ability to offer truly personalized experiences.
In this context, a more exclusive trade show can offer a real advantage. Exhibitors aren't just looking for visibility. They want to meet the right intermediaries: specialist agencies, private concierge services, travel designers, high-end networks, and players capable of reaching high-spending clients.
For French-speaking buyers, the benefit is symmetrical. A selective meeting saves time, allows them to identify credible partners, compare ultra-premium offers, and build more differentiated programs for 2027.
2027, the year of scaling up
The real novelty lies in the strategy already announced for 2027. Crème de la Crème plans first a roadshow limited to ten participants, with meetings in Paris, Brussels and Geneva in early February 2027. The objective is to go directly to the buyers, without waiting for the annual trade show.
A second format, called "Crème de la Grèce" (Cream of Greece), is slated for launch in May 2027. Organizers describe it as an immersive experience in an iconic destination. Finally, a third, off-site edition of the Crème de la Crème trade show is planned for October 2027, though the destination has not yet been officially announced.
These announcements reveal a broader ambition: to transform a Parisian trade show into a recurring networking platform for the French-speaking luxury tourism industry. The distinction is important. Crème de la Crème isn't simply looking to fill an annual event; the project aims to create a professional network that remains active throughout the year.
A signal for French-speaking luxury tourism
The commercial success of the 2026 edition alone is not enough to make Crème de la Crème an unmissable event. The trade show is still young and will need to prove its ability to generate concrete results for both exhibitors and buyers.
But its growth says something about the market. International luxury players are increasingly viewing French-speaking markets as high-value relays, supported by specialized agencies, concierge services, loyal customers and demanding influencers.
For hoteliers, DMCs, cruise lines, destinations, and premium carriers, the challenge is not simply to be present. It is about understanding the commercial codes of these markets: personalization, service requirements, language proficiency, direct relationships with advisors, and the ability to create unique experiences without overpromising.
What professionals need to monitor
The rise of Crème de la Crème will need to be observed through three concrete criteria: the actual quality of the selected buyers, the return rate of exhibitors after the 2026 edition and the ability of the new 2027 formats to generate measurable opportunities.
If these indicators are confirmed, the trade show could occupy a unique position between major international luxury events and more exclusive workshops. Its main advantage would then be its ability to speak to a specific community: French-speaking professionals in the high-end and ultra-luxury travel sector.
For luxury tourism, 2027 could therefore mark a significant milestone. Not because a new trade show is emerging, but because a French-speaking ecosystem is beginning to structure itself around regular, selective, and business-oriented events.
