Delano Miami reopens in 2026 and partners with Paris Society to revolutionize the culinary scene

Date:

The legendary Delano Miami Beach is making its grand return. After several years of closure, the South Beach icon will reopen its doors in a preview at the end of March 2026 in a completely reimagined version. By partnering with the Paris Society group, founded by Laurent de Gourcuff, the hotel is entering a new era blending gastronomy, design, and the art of living. This strategic repositioning could well reshape the luxury hotel landscape in Miami.

Delano Miami: The Rebirth of a Legend

"The Delano, a true Miami Beach icon, will officially reopen its doors in a preview at the end of March 2026, unveiling a spectacular transformation paying homage to the energy and spirit of Miami," the statement relayed by Hospitality Net said.

An iconic figure in 1990s design hotels, the Delano Miami Beach is reborn under the banner of the Ennismore group, with an avowed ambition: to make gastronomy and sensory experience the pillars of the new luxury hotel.

Paris Society signs its first American branch

"At the heart of this bold new chapter is the introduction of world-renowned culinary concepts to the United States, in collaboration with Paris Society," the official statement said.

This is the French group's first-ever American location, which already includes restaurants in Paris, Saint-Tropez, Rome, Dubai, and Bodrum. Two iconic concepts will be launched in Miami: the festive Italian restaurant Gigi Rigolatto and the Japanese restaurant Mimi Kakushi.

“Our arrival in Miami marks an exciting turning point for Paris Society. With the introduction of Gigi Rigolatto and Mimi Kakushi to the American market, we are bringing our vision of lifestyle, where cuisine, design and experience become one, to a city that shares our international DNA,” says Rizwan Kassim, CEO of Paris Society.

Gigi Rigolatto: la dolce vita, Miami Beach version

“After Paris, Saint-Tropez, Rome, Dubai and Bodrum, Gigi Rigolatto arrives at the Delano Miami Beach with her ‘Alla Grande’ spirit, celebrating the art of living, sharing and conviviality,” the press release details.

Designed by Hugo Toro, the restaurant will offer an ambiance inspired by the Italian Riviera and Parisian elegance. Guests will be able to choose between an indoor dining room, poolside tables, and cabanas set up directly on the beach.

The menu will showcase generous and convivial Italian cuisine: arancini, lobster linguine, beef carpaccio, veal Milanese. "Whatever the selection, Gigi's gastronomy always invites sharing, with pleasure as the guiding principle."

The concept will be complemented by a lifestyle boutique offering clothing, design objects and exclusive scents, conceived as a destination in its own right, reflecting "Gigi's charismatic and refined spirit".

Mimi Kakushi: 1920s Japan Revisited

Located on the hotel's fourth floor, Mimi Kakushi will be accessible only to Delano members and hotel guests. "Inspired by 1920s Osaka, the restaurant blends Japanese traditions and Western influences in a reimagined Art Deco setting," the press release states.

The menu will offer contemporary Japanese cuisine: sashimi, sushi, tempura, gyoza, baked black cod, donabe rice pot, and Kagoshima wagyu beef. All prepared around a central sushi counter.

The experience continues at the bar, with a cocktail menu inspired by Japanese and Western cinema, and a soundscape designed as a tribute to old Japanese record bars, mixed with contemporary electronic influences.

Already internationally renowned, the Mimi Kakushi restaurant in Dubai is ranked 36th in the World's 50 Best Bars and number 1 in the Middle East.

Why this alliance is strategic for tourism

This collaboration between Paris Society and the Delano Miami Beach illustrates a fundamental trend in luxury hotels: the hybridization of accommodation, gastronomy, design, and lifestyle. By integrating iconic culinary concepts into the heart of a legendary hotel, the Ennismore group is repositioning the Delano as a destination in its own right.

For tourism professionals, this revival confirms that experiential gastronomy is now a major lever for attractiveness for high-end urban destinations.
